CLUB TURNS 90

During the year of 25-26 Karekare Surf Lifesaving Club turns 90, that is ninety amazing years of saving lives on one of New Zealand’s most dangerous beaches.  We celebrated in style on Saturday 16 February with a 1935 themed picnic complete with Danish Delight icecreams and a feast.  Special thanks to our sponsors and hosts on Karekare house lawn.

We also honoured many of our members with service and distinguished service awards for their decades of service to our club and those who visit Karekare.

We will continue the celebrations throughout 2025 and into 26 as we honour all those that have served on our beach.  For further details please reach out to the club adminsitrator.
